We’re looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our city-wide Communications & Marketing Team and help develop and maintain our digital platforms.
This role is particularly suited to someone who is confident working with complex WordPress websites and is comfortable going beyond standard page editing. You could be working with custom themes and plugins, integrations with third-party services, APIs, databases, authentication systems, e-commerce and other bespoke functionality.
You’ll help us maintain, improve and develop our websites so they remain reliable, secure and easy to use, while also helping us explore new digital solutions that make life easier for our volunteers and members.
We’d particularly love to hear from you if you have experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, APIs or server/hosting environments.
This is a flexible volunteer role, and you’ll be joining a wider team working to improve how Scouting communicates and operates across York.
