We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised volunteer to take the lead on planning and delivering our District Explorer Camp in 2027.
As Camp Leader, you’ll bring together and lead a team of volunteers to create a fantastic weekend for Explorers from across York. You’ll help shape the programme, coordinate logistics, manage the planning process and work with the wider District team to ensure the event is safe, well organised and memorable.
You don’t need to do everything yourself — a big part of the role is building a team, delegating responsibilities and bringing everything together.
If you enjoy organising events, bringing people together and creating brilliant experiences for young people, this is a great opportunity to lead one of our District events from idea through to delivery.
